As a professional working artist I embrace creativity and love teaching both young and old watching them develop their confidence in art skills as they create their own unique masterpieces.
I have an in-depth knowledge of both international contemporary and classical art.

Based in Knockholt, Sevenoaks, Kent, I specialise in teaching small group art classes for that more personal attention and support. I am also available for Private Tuition, Adult Art Classes, Portfolio Preparation, help with Scholarship Applications and those wishing to take their art to the next level.
With over 20 years experience I offer a range of small group classes where students will gain experience and build skills to allow their creativity and personal artistic expression to grow and develop. I accommodate different age groups from 5+, and all skill levels; I have something for everyone. My independent Art Classes are structured, focused on working to nurture a variety of art disciplines from drawing, painting, print making, clay modelling, using quality art materials and equipment.

What is Art?
Exploring Art Skills, Techniques and Materials.
This term we will start by asking the question “What Is Art?”
We will begin by looking at different art skills and techniques used through History and seeing how these skills have developed to 20th Century. Each class will have a set reference to at least one Artist to give a Fine Art context to your child.
We will start by looking at simple lines and how we can build these skills into more complex shapes, patterns by understanding tones, textures, hues using a number of different materials from:

Kids Art Classes... Ages 5-18
For aspiring young artists
My kids' art classes offer a fun and supportive environment to learn and grow.
I provide a safe space for self-expression and skill development. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, I will guide and support you every step of the way. Small fun classes kept to a maximum of 10 to allow more individual attention.
My independent art classes are structured, focused on nurturing and developing a variety of art techniques from drawing, painting and working with clay using quality art materials and equipment. Students will gain experience and build skills to allow their creativity and personal artistic expression to grow and develop.
This is a non-prescriptive approach meaning that work may not be necessarily be completed every lesson. I may run some projects over 2 weeks. However my main focus is on how your child works and how best to support that. I will demonstrate each project in simple steps allowing your budding creative to discover their inner artist.
